Stars`n Stripes arrives at Gothia Cup

For the second time, Stars`n Stripes G18 has arrived at Gothia Cup.

On Sunday, 46 teams arrived by ferry from Frederikshavn, including Stars`n Stripes G18, for the second year in a row.

Rheauna DeLaGarza and coach Tiffany Van Hoose are looking forward to the upcoming week and hope for an even better result than last year. The team is motivated and has prepared thoroughly to perform at their best.
– Other than playing, we are planning to visit Liseberg during our stay in Gothenburg. After Gothia Cup, we will head to another cup to continue the tournament season, Tiffany Van Hoose says.

Stars`n Stripes G18 is in group 1. They will play their first match tomorrow at 3.40 p.m. at Överåsvallen against Walddörfer SV. After that, they will face Colombia´s Future Soccer, Sweden´s Österåker United FK and Landvetter IF.
