The best team until now is Tahuichi of 1984. Eight of the players from that team did represent the national team of Bolivia at the World Cup in USA 1994.

In 2019, 50123 spectators saw the opening ceremony, 21819 spectators saw the finals and 460000 persons visited Heden.

... has participated in all tournaments: Sweden, Germany, Norway, Finland, England and Denmark.
Girl teams since 1975
Already at the very first year girls were welcome to take part in Gothia Cup. Unique for the time but it was a great success. After six years the tournament held five different age classes for girls.
Meatballs
The most popular meal at the schools is meatballs with mashed potatoes. In total, around 255000 meatballs are served.
