Spanish Vicente del Bosque Academy has arrived in Gothenburg

The Spanish team Vicente del Bosque Academy is one of 97 teams arriving at Landvetter Airport on Sunday.

On Sunday, 252 teams will arrive in Gothenburg to participate in this year's Gothia Cup. A total of 97 teams from all over the world will land at Landvetter throughout the day. One of these teams, the Spanish Vicente del Bosque Academy, landed at the airport at 10 a.m.

On the arrival day for Gothia Cup 2024, a total of 5000 players and 252 teams will be arriving. Today, 97 teams will land at Landvetter Airport. One of these teams is Vicente del Bosque Academy from Mallorca, which arrived at 10 a.m. after a three-hour flight.

For the first time, player Jaume Morell Galmés from Mallorca will participate in the Gothia Cup. He looks forward to playing a good tournament and enjoying everything around it. Not only that, but he is also excited to play on real grass.
– I am most excited to play on real grass for the first time, says Jaume Morell Galmés.

The team has plans to explore Gothenburg city and hopefully visit Liseberg amusement park during the week.

It is an especially significant day for the Spanish team Vicente del Bosque Academy. Not only are they arriving for the Gothia Cup, but tonight the European Championship final between Spain and England will also be played. Jaume hopes to watch the match with his team in a local bar this evening.
– We will probably watch the match in a pub or something tonight, I hope, he says happily.
