New England won against Hammarby

FC New England are champions of the Girls 15 class!

NE took the lead in the 11th minute and were in control at the start of the game. Hammarby had some trouble keeping possession. NE then extended their lead at the end of the half, making it 2-0.

3-0 was a beauty. A corner kick that went into the net, not something you see every day. New England kept up the pace and kept attacking but the next goal was to be Hammarby's. 3-1 and everyone wondered if Hammarby could get back in the game.

New England almost made it 4-1 with a long shot that hit the crossbar and bounced off the goal line and out. However, 4-1 did come with 10 minutes to go of the final. Hammarby fought back yet again. 4-2 but with only a few minutes left of the final.

New England held on and won the gold!
