Gothia Cup presents SEB as new Official Partner

SEB steps up and becomes a new Official Partner.

SEB becomes a new Official Partner for Gothia Cup. The parties have agreed on a collaboration with a focus on sustainability, with reduced inequality as the main goal.

SEB has previously been an event partner for Gothia Cup and is now taking the step up to become an Official Partner for the tournament. Gothia Cup's director of sales, Thomas Anderson, thinks the partnership is very important.
– It means a lot that such a faithful and long-term partner as SEB chooses to continue investing in Gothia Cup. This means, among other things, that we can continue to help our young participants understand personal finance and at the same time lay the foundation for young and sustainable entrepreneurship. In this work, diversity, inclusion and equality are important focus areas, says Thomas Anderson.

The parties have set a joint objective to work towards the tenth global goal in Agenda 2030: reduced inequality. SEB will also work with collaboration, team building and problem solving in its activation during the week, to promote and increase knowledge of finance and entrepreneurship during the world's largest youth football tournament. SEB believes that the partnership with Gothia Cup has great potential.

– Our sponsorship and our community investments are about supporting entrepreneurial forces in the society. Together with Gothia Cup, we at SEB, in an international arena, can arouse curiosity and innovative thinking through entrepreneurship to contribute to a positive change in society, says Jonas Söderberg, Head of division Corporate & Private Customers.
