Gothia Cup 2024 is almost fully booked

The interest in Gothia Cup has never been bigger than now.

This year's edition of Gothia Cup is almost fully booked, which means that the opportunity to register will be closed earlier than the scheduled date.

Last year, a record 1 878 teams from 69 countries participated in the Gothia Cup, and the interest in this summer's tournament is at least as great. Already during the first day of registration, over 900 teams signed up, and now, with almost six months to go until Gothia Cup 2024, the tournament is almost fully booked.

– It feels incredibly funny that there is so much interest in coming to Gothenburg and playing Gothia Cup. We usually close registration in the middle of March and never before has the booking situation been like this so we have to close the registration earlier. It's a new situation for us where we tried to communicate with our returning teams and clubs to sign up in good time due to the high pressure. Now we're all preparing ourselves in the best way, so we can deliver an experience to our visitors this summer that will be a memory for life for all young people, says Anders Albertsson, event director for Gothia Cup.
