CF Interclubes Mexico are on a European tour

- We are grateful for this opportunity, says Ivan Galvan, a player for CF Interclubes B18 team.

They have just arrived in Gothenburg after playing and winning a tournament in Paris.
- It felt fantastic to win the tournament in Paris, but now our focus is entirely on the Gothia Cup, says Victor Zavala, coach of CF Interclubes Mexico.

This is the third time they are participating in the tournament, and both the player and the coach always look forward to returning. "It's special to come here to a place where everyone loves football just as much as I do. It's one thing in Mexico, but in this tournament, the love for football is something entirely different," says Ivan Galvan, a player for the Mexican team.

He is grateful to once again have the chance to come to the Gothia Cup and has great respect for those who have made this journey possible for them.
- We are incredibly thankful for all our parents and club leaders who always make such great sacrifices so that we can come here every year and participate in the tournament. Without them, this would not be possible, says Ivan Galvan.

For CF Interclubes Mexico, the goal for the week is clear.
- We have come here to win. That is our only goal here, says Victor Zavala.

Ivan Galvan agrees:
- We hope it's third time lucky here; we are obviously aiming to win, he says.

On Monday, they will play their first match. They will face Västra Frölunda IF at Kviberg 11 at 8:00 AM.
