AIK won the SEF Trophy

AIK won the final in the SEF Trophy against BK Häcken by 3-0. – We played really well today, we've got great chemistry in this team, says Sixten Gustafsson, AIK team captain and MVP of the match.

AIK opened the game at a brisk pace and scored 1-0 in the second minute. After 11 minutes they extended their lead with what was probably the best goal of the day at SKF Arena. A cross came in from the left which Sixten Gustafsson met with a perfect header into the goal. 2-0 to AIK but BK Häcken was not giving up.

They created two really good chances but were denied both times. The match turned into a bit of a see-saw with no clear chances for either team before AIK scored again, just before the half.

The second half opened with the BK Häcken goalkeeper saving a penalty. But it was not enough. They needed to score but the AIK defense held fast for the whole second half and AIK won by 3-0.
