Round of 16 are underway

B11 MTV Treubund Lüneburg played against the University of Pretoria on Friday morning at Heden 5 - GB Glace.

A match filled with determination and passion from both players and coaches was played between German MTV Treubund Lüneburg and South African University of Pretoria. The match ended 3 - 1 in favor of MTV Treubund Lüneburg, advancing them to the quarterfinals.

Despite the loss, coach Kabelo Mokoena is very pleased with his team's performance over the week, stating that the boys have developed immensely during their time at Gothia. Meeting with the other teams has also been a huge highlight.
– It has been a very good experience to meet the other teams at Gothia. It is fun to make new contacts and learn from each other. It is also interesting to see how the playing styles differ among the teams, some are significantly more direct than others, he says.

The boys from University of Pretoria B11 are staying in Gothenburg until Sunday and plan to watch the finals tomorrow, Saturday.
