Gothia Cup has developed a sustainability policy
In collaboration with Greentime, Gothia Cup has developed a sustainability policy that will strengthen the tournament's sustainability work.
Gothia Cup is the world's largest and most international youth football tournament. The event is a meeting place for the world's youth, regardless of religion, gender, skin color or nationality, with football as the common denominator.
Gothia Cup has started a collaboration with Greentime, which offers a comprehensive solution for the tournament's sustainability work. Now Gothia Cup has created a sustainability policy in collaboration with Greentime, to further strengthen the sustainability work. With the sustainability policy, we show our ambitions and guide our work within the framework of what we have control over and what we have the opportunity to influence going forward.
– It feels great to begin this important work where the sustainability policy is the first step of many to come. This summer, with the help of our new tool, we will collect information on how we are doing today, in order to come to a common conclusion later this autumn on which actions we will take in the future in our sustainability work, says Gothia Cup's project leader Karolina Söör.
